Students start at Reiki 1 and may progress through the series at their own speed, observing the minimum waiting periods. Homework is assigned and a manual is provided for study after class. (In order to keep costs reasonable, CEU's are not offered.)
Many students just take Reiki 1 so that they can practice Reiki hands-on. That is perfectly fine. It is the daily practice of Reiki that makes the difference, not how many classes you attend.
For those who have studied Reiki elsewhere, it is still best to start with Reiki 1 as your previous Reiki training was probably different. However, depending on the student's Reiki experience, the waiting time between classes may be shorter.
The Reiki 1 workshop is all you need to start using Reiki hands-on! This workshop includes: the 4-part attunement to Reiki 1, Reiki history, the Reiki precepts, Reiki techniques, meditation, and hands-on practice. No prior experience or training required. After this workshop students are able to give Reiki to themselves, friends, family and pets. Students are given on going support. A certificate of completion of this Reiki 1 workshop is given.
The Reiki 2 workshop includes: the 3-part attunement to Reiki 2, the first 3 Reiki symbols, Western method of giving Reiki at a distance, meditation and chanting. This workshop may be taken 2 months after taking Pam's Reiki 1. A certificate of completion of this Reiki 2 workshop is given.
This workshop includes the attunement to Reiki 3, the 4th Reiki symbol, how to give a Reiju, meditation, and chanting. This workshop may be taken 2 months after taking Reiki 2 and after regular practice with the Reiki homework for a least 9 months.
In this workshop students learn how to give the Reiki Attunements. This workshop may be taken 2 months after Reiki 3 (Part 1) and regular practice with the Reiki homework.
Students must pass practical and written testing to earn a certificate of completion for Reiki 3. Review of important concepts and information on teaching Reiki are covered. At this level the student is expected to have made a commitment to their personal Reiki practice. After this class students may observe in any of the classes at no charge, room permitting, to gain confidence in teaching Reiki. This workshop may be taken 1 month after Reiki 3 (Part 2).
